What is e-invoicing?
E-invoicing was developed to optimise existing communication flows relating to orders. The traditional invoicing process involves a great deal of paperwork and various manual activities such as checking invoices, booking orders and authorisation. Thanks to the e-ordering process, though, these internal and external paper flows will now be replaced by electronic documents.
What does e-invoicing involve?
Instead of the traditional hardcopy invoice, Alpha International can now send you an electronic invoice in XML format. You can read and review this electronic invoice automatically in your own financial environment.
What does e-invoicing mean for you?
The e-ordering options that Alpha International offer can save you a considerable amount of time in the administrative process: you no longer receive physical post that must be opened, forwarded internally for checks and manually entered in your system. Of course, any problems that you might encounter in this system and via the normal RMA procedure will be quickly resolved by our Service Desk.
The e-invoicing process also saves you a great deal of time and reduces costs for Alpha International, which in turn can indirectly benefit your price level. The less time we need to spend on manually processing invoices, the more time we have available to respond to your personal needs and wishes!

How does e-invoicing work?
E-invoicing is carried out via an XML link, which you can set up in four easy steps:
- Download the technical documentation.
- Create the XML files.
- Validate the XML files with the XML validator on the Alpha International website.
- Contact your account manager so that we can monitor your first e-order.
